Porchfest in the GE Realty Plot!

Porchfest Schenectady is a free, community-organized music event in Schenectady’s GE Realty Plot and surrounding neighborhoods where residents volunteer their front porches to serve as stages for local musicians, creating a walkable festival that brings people together for a day of diverse live music. The event began in 2023, inspired by a similar concept that started in Ithaca, NY, and typically features a variety of musical styles, including jazz, bluegrass, and classical, in a rain-or-shine format. They are also accepting donations to help underwrite the event.
