We are pleased to share with you that Porchfest 2025 will be Saturday, September 20, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm right here in the GE Plot!
Porchfest Schenectady is a free, community-organized music event in Schenectady’s GE Realty Plot and surrounding neighborhoods where residents volunteer their front porches to serve as stages for local musicians, creating a walkable festival that brings people together for a day of diverse live music. The event began in 2023, inspired by a similar concept that started in Ithaca, NY, and typically features a variety of musical styles, including jazz, bluegrass, and classical, in a rain-or-shine format. They are also accepting donations to help underwrite the event. Please see the flyer for more details.
