Save the Date for Porchfest 2024!

Saturday, 9/21 from 12-5 pm.

The Porchfest concept started in Ithaca as a way for community members to walk around from house to house and enjoy free music.  Steve Weisse, a local musician and the secretary-treasurer of Local 85-133 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada, the local musicians union in Schenectady says the idea for this event came from a previous student of his but he decided to change it a little bit by paying the musicians.

This event was a lot of fun for the neighborhood last year and music lovers from all around the region came to our neighborhood to enjoy the music. We look forward to participating in this great event again this year!
