The GERPA Tree Committee has once again coordinated the planting of a dozen trees on our street lawns to replace trees we have lost. The trees are scheduled to be delivered on Monday, October 26, and will need to be planted as soon as possible after delivery.
Volunteers are needed to help plant the trees on the mornings of October 28, 29, 30, and 31. If you can spare an hour or two on any of those days (or later in the day if that works better for you), please consider lending a hand! The work should be manageable, as the trees are bare-root.
Any trees remaining will be planted on Saturday, October 31, so extra help that day would also be appreciated.
